To the Officers and Brethren of Toronto West District, 09 February 2026

Following the Grand Master’s announcement of July 17, 2025 approving realignment of the Toronto Districts, Toronto West District now consists of ten lodges. In light of this re-alignment our motto for the current Masonic year is “co-operation / collaboration / teamwork”. The objective has been to promote harmony while fostering an atmosphere of inclusion, ensuring that all Lodges within our realigned District feel supported and engaged. I am pleased to observe that the District is responding with a positive attitude and a strong spirit of cooperation. The enthusiasm, encouragement and mutual support demonstrated by the Brethren have been both reassuring and inspiring. These qualities are clear indicators that Toronto West District is a healthy, vibrant and forward-looking District. The collaboration amongst our Lodges and the willingness of members to support one another have created genuine momentum and strengthened fraternal bonds throughout the District.

I have also made a priority to visit Lodges outside the District to enhance the profile of Toronto West District and to promote cooperation, goodwill and mutual support between Districts. Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again. I would like to leave with you a reminder that the virtues so intrinsic to our core beliefs are in fact timeless and needed more than ever in modern society.
